With effect from 1 June 2021, COLOSSAL is the new owner of the Brakpan and De Aar precast concrete factories formerly operated by Aveng Infraset. With a new leadership, and an enhanced sales and technical team, it is our promise that all products will continue to be manufactured with the same care, skill and quality as the factories have done in the past 65 years.
COLOSSAL houses all of the tried and tested factory equipment, moulds and systems of Aveng Infraset used in the manufacture of our precast:
Railway Sleepers, Poles and Masts, Large Diameter Pipes and Culverts, Enclosures and other Specialised Products.

CONCRETE SPECIALISTS
Our technical department have developed over 40 railway related products. These specialized products are used in specific applications and includes electrification, security enclosures, drainage structures as well as a host of other products.
COLOSSAL not only supply the 4 main types of sleepers, they currently supply all the concrete turnout sleepers in Southern Africa.
We have installed capacity to produce over 1million sleepers per annum at our factories in Brakpan and De Aar.
